All Roads: Christ Is The Only Way!

Updated: Aug 23, 2021

There's a saying out there that says "There is more than one way to skin a cat." Or as in problem solving and solution findings you'll hear that there is more than one way to get to the answer; if it doesn't work one way, try another. But when it comes to eternity the Bible says there is only one way and that way is Jesus.

In John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me."

One day while at home just kind of straightening up, I heard from the television playing in the background something said that referenced all roads lead to heaven. I thought to myself "NO" that's not true. All roads do not lead to heaven and God. Proverbs 16:25 says "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." In our human limitations and human wisdom we can get it wrong. We can make very unwise decisions and take turns that lead us down the wrong paths. Jeremiah 31:3 says "The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee." You see the Lord draws us, calls us and woo's us by His spirit. It is only by His spirit that we can make the right decisions to be led down the right path; the right road to Him. But if when He calls, when that personal invitation is given, if we make the wrong decision and respond incorrectly and choose not to accept His invitation, then we have rejected the very thing that makes it possible for us to travel down the right road to see God and make it into heaven.

Satan would have you believe that all religions work and that living your truth, not God's truth and that if you simply be a good person and treat everyone with kindness that this alone is the road to take to see God.

But that's a lie!,

is a lie!

is a lie!

from the pit of hell.

Mark 10:18 "And Jesus said unto him, why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God." Because "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Jeremiah 17:9 So see, we can't be good; it's not inherit within us. We need the spirit of God to help us even in this decision from day-to-day.

We must choose right!

We must choose NOW!

And we must choose on this side of judgment. I have to admit that the saying and or school of thought that says ALL roads lead to God is partially true. Because one day we shall all stand before Him whether we want to or not.

Roman 14: 10-12 10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

But the question is, on which side of judgment shall you be? Therein lies the difference. Will you be as one who responds positively to the invitation from Jesus; as one He welcomes in to see the Father and receive of His blessings and rest He has prepared for those who choose Him. 1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Or will you be as those who rejects His invitation; who snubs your nose at His hand to come and be a part of the family of Christ. One who will forever be separated from God? Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

The choice is yours!

Choose wisely!

Choose NOW!

THERE IS ONLY ONE RIGHT ROAD,

ONE STRAIGHT STREET,

ONE NARROW ROAD TO HEAVEN AND GOD!

15 "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:

but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."
